Set up electric service
Celebration is served by Duke Energy Florida, not by Kissimmee Utility Authority; new residents start service through Duke's Florida residential accounts. Start with Duke Energy Florida (800-700-8744).
Water & trash
Water: Toho Water Authority for most of the Kissimmee / St. Cloud area. See the water authority. Trash and recycling: City service in Kissimmee and St. Cloud; county franchise elsewhere. Your closing or lease paperwork usually names the exact providers; when in doubt, ask Osceola County Government.
Internet
Spectrum and AT&T Fiber are the most common providers. Availability is address-specific, so run each provider's address check before scheduling installation.
Florida driver license & vehicle registration
New residents have 30 days to get a Florida driver license and 10 days to register vehicles once employed or enrolled. Start at FLHSMV; local service is through the Osceola County Tax Collector.

What is the Florida homestead exemption and when do I file?

How do I find out which schools serve my address?
School assignments are set by School District of Osceola County and can differ street by street, so never rely on a listing or hearsay. Use the district's official address-lookup tools to verify before you commit to a home.

Will my home have an HOA or CDD?

Is Celebration its own city?
No. Celebration is unincorporated Osceola County. Day-to-day infrastructure and parks are managed by the Celebration Community Development District (with a companion Enterprise CDD), community amenities and covenants by the Celebration Residential Owners Association, and county government provides sheriff, fire and land-use authority.
What do CDD assessments and HOA dues cover in Celebration?
Owners typically pay both: an annual Celebration CDD assessment collected on the Osceola County property-tax bill, which funds district infrastructure, parks and bond debt service, plus CROA dues that fund community amenities and covenant enforcement. Buyers should budget for both on top of regular county taxes and confirm the current amounts for a specific address with the CDD and CROA.
Who provides utilities in Celebration?
Duke Energy Florida supplies electricity and Toho Water Authority provides water and wastewater as part of its unincorporated-Osceola service area, so neither matches Kissimmee's municipal utility despite the shared Kissimmee-area addresses.
